The celebrations for Karl Oppermann’s birthday took place on October 30th and 31st.

Under strict hygiene regulations, the Minister of Economic Affairs of the state of Saxony-Anhalt, Prof. Dr. Armin Willingmann, the Lord Mayor of the city of Wernigerode, Peter Gaffert, the Rector of Harz University, Prof. Dr. Folker Roland, and the laudator Karl Anton honored the jubilarian in the grand hall of Wernigerode City Hall. This was musically accompanied by an ensemble from the State Music Gymnasium.

On Saturday, friends and companions gathered in Veckenstedt under bright sunshine for a small morning gathering outdoors.
